We are seeking a Behaviour Mentor to join our team at Horizon Teachers. As a Behaviour Mentor, you will work with our students who have challenging behaviour and may have been excluded from mainstream education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with students to develop positive behaviour strategies
- Provide one-to-one support to students to help them manage their behaviour
- Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement behaviour plans
- Monitor and record student progress
- Communicate with parents and carers to keep them informed of student progress
Requirements:
- Experience working with students with challenging behaviour
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of behaviour management strategies and techniques
