We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to support students with special educational needs in a dynamic and inclusive school environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting Students: Provide individualized support to students with special educational needs, promoting their academic and personal growth.
  • Classroom Assistance: Assist the teacher in delivering lessons, managing classroom behavior, and maintaining a safe and organized learning environment.
  • Communication: Develop strong relationships with students, teachers, and parents to ensure effective communication and support.
  • Adaptability: Be flexible and adaptable in responding to the diverse needs of students and the school environment.

Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience working with students with special educational needs.
  • Qualifications: Relevant qualifications and training in supporting students with special educational needs.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.

Working Arrangements

  • Location: Dorchester
  • Contract Type: Temp to Perm/Permanent
  • Full Time/Part Time: Full Time/Part Time available
  • Working Hours: 8:30 am - 4:00 pm, (hours may vary) plus occasional parents' evenings
