Contract Type: Temp to Perm/Permanent

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to support students with special educational needs in our school. As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with our teaching staff to provide individualized support and create a positive learning environment for our students.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to students with special educational needs in a classroom setting
  • Assist with lesson planning and implementation
  • Develop and implement individualized support plans for students
  • Communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and other staff members
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive school culture

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience working with children, ideally in a SEND setting
  • Up-to-date Safeguarding training
  • Relevant qualifications in education or childcare (desirable but not essential)
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Enhanced child barred list DBS certificate (or willingness to process a new application)
