Job Title: Store Manager - Retail Operations
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Store Manager to lead our retail team in delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving sales growth. As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for managing a team of retail professionals, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining a high level of store appearance and operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a team of retail professionals to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service.
- Ensure the store is visually appealing and well-maintained, with a focus on merchandising and visual displays.
- Assist with recruiting and developing the retail team, providing coaching and training to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
- Understand and communicate product knowledge to the retail team, ensuring they are equipped to provide excellent customer service.
- Assist with ordering products, stock control, and responsibility for the delivery of all goods, following up with any discrepancies.
- Carry out monthly and year-end retail stock takes, following strict stock control guidelines.
- Assist with the control of the team rota and ensure the store is adequately staffed at all times.
- Carry out daily banking procedures and assist with cashing up at the end of the shift, where necessary.
Requirements:
- Relevant retail experience, with some in a management or supervisory position.
- Ability to manage a team and drive performance through KPIs.
- Knowledge of retail IT systems and commerciality and merchandising skills.
- Fluent English (spoken and written) is essential.
- Energetic self-starter with a strong work ethic and ability to work flexible hours, including weekends.
