Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant and Bar Operations Manager to join our team at Mercure Manchester Piccadilly. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the restaurant and bar operations, ensuring exceptional guest satisfaction and maintaining consistent standards of service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee the restaurant and bar teams, ensuring seamless service delivery and maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to drive sales growth, improve customer engagement, and enhance the overall guest experience.
  • Collaborate with the hotel's events team to plan and execute successful events, conferences, and weddings.
  • Monitor and control costs, ensuring efficient use of resources and minimizing waste.
  • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements, applying this knowledge to drive business growth and improvement.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within the hospitality industry.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, guests, and stakeholders.
