Health Inclusion Specialist Midwife

We are seeking an experienced and skilled midwife to join our team as a Health Inclusion Specialist Midwife. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a high level of clinical expertise, leadership skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality care to women and birthing people.
Key Responsibilities- Provide advanced level of professional accountability, autonomy, and judgement in the rapid assessment, diagnostics, and treatment of women/birthing people within the Maternity Triage and Day Assessment unit.
- Plan and manage complete episodes of care, working in collaboration with midwives, junior doctors, and consultants, to ensure timely, effective management and optimize health outcomes.
- Promote and implement service and policy development and redesign, impacting beyond own area and other disciplines, informed by current best practice and evidence-base.
- Act as a resource to others and develop, deliver, and evaluate a range of relevant specialist programmes of education and development for women/birthing people and large groups.
- Full Registration with NMC and a practising midwife.
- MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice in relevant specialist clinical field.
- Registered Independent Non-Medical Prescriber.
- Teaching Qualification Working towards a PHD/Doctorate.
- Decision making/critical analysis.
- Networking amongst internal and external professionals/organisations.
- Robust understanding of all aspects of Clinical Governance including previous experience of quality issues, audit and risk management.
