SEN Teaching Assistant Role

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN teaching assistant to join our team at Long-term Teachers Ltd. As a SEN teaching assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils with special educational needs in a variety of settings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized support to pupils with SEN, promoting their learning and development.
  • Assist teachers in planning and delivering lessons, ensuring that pupils with SEN receive the support they need.
  • Develop and implement strategies to support pupils with SEN, including behavioral management and intervention programs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, other support staff, and parents to ensure that pupils with SEN receive a comprehensive and inclusive education.
Requirements:
  • Experience working with pupils with SEN, preferably in a school setting.
  • Knowledge of support and intervention programs for SEND, including behavioral management and additional SEN requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with pupils, teachers, and parents.
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to work in a variety of settings and with different age groups.
