SEN Teaching Assistant Role

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN teaching assistant to join our team at Long-term Teachers Ltd. As a SEN teaching assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils with special educational needs in a variety of settings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized support to pupils with SEN, tailoring your approach to meet their unique needs.
  • Assist teachers in creating and implementing personalized learning plans.
  • Develop and maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to ensure seamless support for pupils.
  • Communicate effectively with pupils, parents, and teachers to ensure a cohesive approach to supporting pupils with SEN.
Requirements:
  • Experience working with pupils with SEN, preferably in a school setting.
  • Strong knowledge of support and intervention programs for SEND.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
