Role Overview

If you have a passion for driving and wish to utilize your skills to benefit our feline friends, this role may be ideal for you. Our transport volunteers play a crucial role in supporting our teams and local volunteer groups by transporting essential supplies, including equipment, litter, food, and even cats. They are vital in connecting our network of volunteers, veterinary services, and supporters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Organizing and delivering supplies such as equipment, litter, and cat food.
  • Transporting cats to and from veterinary appointments, foster homes, and care centers.
  • Delivering equipment to various events.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.

  • A valid driver's license.
  • Access to a vehicle or willingness to drive a Cats Protection van (subject to availability).
  • Capability to perform some heavy lifting.

Time Commitment

Typically, our transport volunteers dedicate two to four hours per week to this role, which is flexible and can be shared among multiple volunteers if necessary.
