We are excited to announce an opportunity to be part of the renowned Red Lion TruckStop Northampton. We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef de Partie to enhance our culinary team. Our establishment is open daily, offering a diverse menu of high-quality, fresh food and beverages in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to high standards at all times.
  • Prepare and present high-quality dishes efficiently and according to specifications.
  • Ensure all kitchen and food preparation areas are kept clean and organized.
  • Collaborate with team members to foster a supportive and cooperative work environment.
  • Comply with Health and Food Safety regulations and procedures.
  • Complete necessary daily and weekly administrative tasks as required.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Previous experience in a food production role.
  • Demonstrated experience as a Chef in a busy kitchen environment.
  • Commitment to staying updated with culinary trends and best practices.
  • Ability to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Capacity to work under pressure.
  • Willingness to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • A qualification in culinary arts or a related field is preferred.
  • Proficient spoken English.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and a strong communicator.
  • Ability to work independently without supervision.
  • Capability to manage pressure, prioritize tasks, and communicate effectively at all levels.
