The role involves providing specialized imaging services across various clinical settings, including MRI, CT, Nuclear Medicine, Mammography, Cardio-Vascular, Neuro-Angiography, and additional satellite imaging facilities.

The successful candidate will be responsible for justifying and conducting radiographic examinations, delivering direct patient care, and ensuring a high-quality diagnostic service to support patient management within the Radiology Directorate.

Additionally, the post holder will supervise and mentor junior radiographers, ensuring seamless service delivery.

This position requires the individual to possess a PVG Scheme membership. If the candidate is not currently a member of the required regulatory group (child and/or adult), they will need to apply to Disclosure Scotland for satisfactory clearance prior to commencing the role.
