Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the establishment of production lines
  • Manage the loading and unloading of goods
  • Operate Fork Lift Trucks as required
  • Ensure quality control throughout the production process
  • Schedule staff rotas, performance reviews, and holiday allocations
  • Conduct stock management and inventory audits
  • Perform health and safety inspections of the facility

Production Operations Management:

  • Lead and mentor a team of production staff and temporary workers
  • Develop and execute production schedules to align with customer needs
  • Monitor key production metrics and implement corrective measures to achieve targets
  • Conduct regular inspections of machinery to ensure optimal performance

Training and Development:

  • Provide training to production staff on standard operating procedures and safety measures
  • Assist in troubleshooting equipment issues
  • Identify opportunities for process enhancements, cost savings, and waste reduction
  • Utilize Lean manufacturing principles to streamline production workflows

Compliance and Safety:

  • Ensure adherence to all safety regulations and company policies
