Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with a special interest in Colposcopy to join our team at Wrightington, Wigan and Leigh Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the provision of high-quality Obstetric and Gynaecological services, with a focus on Colposcopy.
  • Develop and maintain expertise in Colposcopy, staying up-to-date with the latest clinical guidelines and research.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care to patients.
  • Participate in clinical governance and quality improvement initiatives to ensure excellent patient outcomes.
  • Contribute to the education and training of junior doctors and medical students.

Requirements:

  • Eligibility to register with the General Medical Council (GMC).
  • Completion of specialist training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
  • Experience in Colposcopy and a strong interest in continuing professional development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
