Role Overview:

We are seeking a Productivity Analyst to become an integral member of our Workforce Management Department. In this role, you will play a vital part in a well-established, supportive, and high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take charge of supporting the execution of our Programme of Works by assessing and modeling our in-store operations while maintaining the Labour Model.
  • Continuously gather and analyze data to uncover trends and provide valuable insights.
  • Assist the broader team in sustaining the Labour Model.
  • Oversee the complete management of work measurement initiatives.
  • Identify and document Retail processes.
  • Evaluate Retail processes and productivity levels.
  • Model and verify the effects of the measurements.
  • Pinpoint opportunities for optimizing Retail processes and workflows to enhance value and boost productivity & efficiency.
  • Educate stakeholders to ensure comprehension and elevate their knowledge, succinctly summarizing the results of your analyses.
  • Develop Labour Standards to establish a Standard Minute Value (SMV) for each task/process.
  • Conduct Activity, Efficiency, and Role work measurement studies.
  • Visit Retail locations for measurements, audits, and validation.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in data gathering and analysis, with the ability to communicate findings clearly and effectively.
  • Strong computer skills, particularly advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Mathematical aptitude with a focus on data accuracy.
  • Competency in SQL Data management.
  • Efficient project management skills for work measurement initiatives.
  • High level of critical thinking to address complex challenges.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and development, coupled with a strong work ethic.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to excellence.
  • Effective organizational and planning skills, capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong presentation and interpersonal communication abilities.

  • Flexibility to travel within the UK, including overnight stays when necessary.

Desirable Attributes:

  • Familiarity with Retail processes.
  • Degree-level education or substantial business experience in a relevant field.
  • Knowledge and experience in applying work study methodologies.
  • Experience in developing engineered labour standards.
  • Background in Productivity, Industrial Engineering, or Workforce Management.
  • Experience with Lean methodologies or Six Sigma principles.
