Clinical Psychologist Position

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Clinical Psychologist to join our Stepped Care Initiative within Adult Mental Health Psychology & Psychological Services at Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board. This is a permanent position based in the Central region.
Main DutiesThe successful candidate will work under the supervision of the Consultant Clinical Psychologist post for Stepped Care and provide leadership to the Primary Mental Health Service MDT on psychological knowledge and skills. This will involve working with primary care mental health services across the age range of younger and older adults, providing direct clinical input to clients, and working through others by offering training, supervision, and team formulation.
About the RoleThe ideal candidate will have a good Honours degree in Psychology, eligibility for Chartered status with the BPS, and a post-graduate Doctorate in Clinical Psychology. They will also have additional appropriate experience of working as a qualified Clinical Psychologist, including significant post-qualification experience in the specialty.
Requirements- Ability to use highest level of interpersonal and communication skills to convey and receive highly complex/sensitive information effectively.
- Ability to make clinical and service-related judgements involving highly complex facts requiring analysis, interpretation and comparison of several options.
