Clinical Psychologist/Counselling Psychologist Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical/Counselling Psychologist to join our team at South West London and St Georges Mental Health NHS Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing specialist assessments and evidence-based interventions to children and young people with complex mental health needs.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a qualified Clinical/Counselling Psychologist to work in a multidisciplinary team, providing high-quality care to children and young people with moderate to severe mental health problems. The successful candidate will have experience of working with children and young people, and will be able to relate and provide accessible services to a diverse community.
Key Responsibilities- Provide specialist assessments and evidence-based interventions to children and young people with complex mental health needs.
- Work collaboratively with other professionals to provide holistic and coordinated services to children and young people.
- Contribute to the development and evaluation of services operational policies and services.
- Provide supervision and training to other team members as required.
- Qualified Clinical or Counselling Psychologist registered with the HCPC as an applied psychologist.
- Post-graduate doctoral level training in clinical or counselling psychology.
- Experience of working with children and young people in a variety of mental health settings.
- Experience of multi-disciplinary team working and inter-agency working.
