Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Internal Communications Specialist to join our team at Maximus UK. As an Internal Communications Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting the delivery of effective internal communications and engagement campaigns across our organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement internal communications strategies to engage and inform colleagues across the organization.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to build content for engagement campaigns and projects, ensuring that all communications are consistent and aligned with our brand.
  • Plan and publish content across internal channels, including intranet, email, and other digital platforms.
  • Support the organization of all-colleague calls and other live events, including scripting and delivery.
  • Collaborate with the employee communications team to deliver high-quality, creative, and engaging communication solutions for various initiatives, including:
    • Purpose, Values, and Strategy
    • Leadership events
    • Change, divisional, and operational communications
    • Social value initiatives
    • Talent and Development programs
    • Engagement activities
    • Well-being initiatives
    • Recognition schemes
    • Compensation and Benefits projects
  • Support the wider team in achieving overall team objectives, including:
    • Proofreading content to ensure accuracy and grammatical errors
    • Ensuring communications are consistent and 'on brand'
    • Taking ownership of activities and tasks to support the team

Requirements

  • Experience of delivering compelling internal communications
  • Experience of supporting internal projects and campaigns
  • Experience of supporting events for internal colleagues
  • Qualification in a Communications or Marketing related discipline or significant relevant industry experience
  • Strong written, verbal communication, and copywriting skills
  • Ability to perform comfortably in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environment
  • Stakeholder management
  • Robust planning and organization
  • Strong attention to detail
