English Teacher Job Opportunity

GSL Education is seeking a dedicated and passionate English Teacher to join our team of educators in Thurrock. As an English Teacher, you will play a vital role in enhancing students' literacy skills and fostering a love for literature.

About the Role:

As an English Teacher, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and delivering engaging English lessons that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
  • Motivating students to improve their reading, writing, and critical thinking skills.
  • Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student participation and growth.
  • Evaluating and tracking student progress, providing constructive feedback to aid their development.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to refine and improve the English curriculum.
  • Participating in school activities and events to enrich students' educational experiences.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent certification.
  • Experience teaching English in schools or similar settings.
  • A strong understanding of English literature and language.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development and teamwork with colleagues.
  • A valid enhanced DBS registration or willingness to apply for one.
