Job Title: Director of Care – Dementia Care

Job Type: Full-Time

Location: South East UK, East UK

Salary: £70-95k DOE

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Director of Care to lead our dedicated team and ensure the highest standards of person-centered care for individuals living with dementia.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership: Lead, manage, and mentor a multidisciplinary care team to ensure excellence in care delivery.
  • Care Planning: Develop, implement, and monitor individualized care plans for residents, ensuring their unique needs are met.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure continuous improvement in care services.
  • Budget Management: Oversee financial planning and budget management to ensure the efficient use of resources.
  • Staff Development: Lead the recruitment, training, and professional development of staff, fostering a culture of excellence and compassion.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Significant experience in managing care services, particularly in dementia care.
  • Education: NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
