We are seeking a highly skilled Claims Technical Specialist to join our team at Hastings Direct. As a Claims Technical Specialist, you will play a critical role in reviewing and monitoring outcomes using data and supporting improvements through technical development.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with operational leadership to review and monitor outcomes using data and support improvements through technical development.
- Identify technical needs and themes for individual colleagues and create and deliver technical development.
- Deliver new colleague training and act as sign-off for new colleagues from the academy period through to being out 'on the floor'.
- Use data gathered through audits and team leaders to identify systemic/thematic development requirements and create and implement solutions.
- Support the Contact Centre Leader/Ops Manager to develop the technical strategy for the function and collaborate with other technical and operational leaders to agree and deliver solutions covering learning and development, process, and governance.
- Create and deliver all function-specific training for the department.
- Strong understanding of the motor claims journey.
- Great attention to detail with the ability to be a strategic thinker and problem solver.
- Excellent stakeholder management experience with the ability to coach and support colleagues.
