Opportunity for a Specialist Doctor in General Adult Psychiatry
NHS Scotland is seeking a highly experienced Specialist Doctor in General Adult Psychiatry to join the Wester Ross and Skye Community Mental Health Team. The successful candidate will have a strong commitment to delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of the team.
The post offers a unique opportunity to work in a remote and rural community, leveraging digital technology to provide flexible and innovative care. The successful candidate will be encouraged to become an integral part of the team, clinically, operationally, and in teaching and training.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality patient care in General Adult Psychiatry
- Contribute to the development of the team and service
- Participate in teaching and training of students and trainees
- Work collaboratively with colleagues in Primary care and Rural General Hospitals
Requirements:
- Significant experience in General Adult Psychiatry
- Commitment to gaining CCT through the Portfolio Pathway/ CESR route
- Ability to work in a remote and rural community
