Critical Care Nurse

Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced critical care nurse to join our team at the John Radcliffe Intensive Care Unit. As a critical care nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Main Duties
- Provide holistic patient care that is underpinned by our values of compassion, respect, learning, delivery, improvement, and excellence.
- Work collaboratively with patients, relatives, and the multidisciplinary team to create patient-centered care packages.
- Communicate effectively with patients, relatives, and colleagues to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Maintain and develop high standards of nursing care, reflecting professional nursing practice.
- Develop and maintain general and specialist knowledge of nursing practice relevant to the JR Intensive Care Unit.
- Conduct yourself in a professional manner and be a role model to others, in line with The Code (NMC).
- Assist in the strategic planning of the AICU service by participating in unit initiatives and providing feedback.
- Provide leadership and supervision for junior team members and in the clinical area.
- Represent the JR Critical Care team at a local, national, and international level.
