Dementia Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as a Dementia Adviser. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of people affected by dementia and their carers.
Key Responsibilities- Provide personalized advice, guidance, and support to people diagnosed with dementia and their carers.
- Partner with Cadent Gas to provide clear and up-to-date advice on energy efficiency, carbon monoxide safety, and the Priority Services Register.
- Support the South Asian community in Newham, Enfield, and Barnet, with a focus on Urdu-speaking individuals.
- Fluency in English and South Asian languages, particularly Urdu.
- Understanding of dementia and the needs of people affected by dementia.
- Knowledge of the South Asian community and its cultural nuances.
As a Dementia Adviser with Alzheimer's Society, you will have the opportunity to work with a dedicated team, make a real difference in the lives of people affected by dementia, and develop your skills and expertise in a supportive and inclusive environment.
