Behaviour Support Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled Behaviour Support Assistant to join our Alternative Provision Team at the University of Brighton Academies Trust. As a Behaviour Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing specialist support to students who require additional educational needs and behaviour support.
Key Responsibilities- Implement work programmes for individuals/groups, including those requiring detailed and specialist knowledge in particular areas, including behaviour support.
- Provide specialist support for students identified as needing behaviour support and have additional educational needs.
- Offer in-class support for all students as directed.
- Build strong positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure feedback regarding students is consistent and constructive.
- Ability to build strong positive relationships with students.
- Resilience and experience in providing educational support with strong discipline.
- Enthusiasm, presence, and authority with a positive, can-do attitude.
- Highly organised, motivated, and driven to succeed.
- Ability to support students who exhibit challenging behaviour.
- Team member who will collaborate with colleagues to ensure feedback regarding students is consistent and constructive.
