Job Summary:
We are seeking a Behaviour Support Assistant to join our Alternative Provision Team at The Hastings Academy. As a Behaviour Support Assistant, you will work under guidance to implement work programmes for individuals/groups, providing specialist support for students identified as needing behaviour support and additional educational needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement work programmes for individuals/groups, including those requiring detailed and specialist knowledge in particular areas, including behaviour support.
- Provide specialist support for students identified as needing behaviour support and additional educational needs.
- Support students who exhibit challenging behaviour.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure feedback regarding students is consistent and constructive.
Requirements:
- Ability to build strong positive relationships with students.
- Resilience and experience in providing educational support with strong discipline.
- Enthusiasm, presence, and authority with a positive, can-do attitude.
- Highly organised, motivated, and driven to succeed.
