Job Summary
Ark Castledown Primary Academy is seeking an enthusiastic and resilient individual to join our Inclusion Team as a Learning Support Assistant. The successful candidate will have experience of working with primary-aged children, children with SEND, and supporting children with behavioural difficulties. The role involves implementing work programmes for children with additional needs and assisting in planning, managing, and preparing resources for these children.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting children with special educational needs
- Assisting in planning and preparing resources for children with additional needs
- Implementing work programmes for children with additional needs
- Assisting in managing and preparing resources for children with additional needs
- Experience of working with primary-aged children
- Experience of working with children with SEND
- Experience of supporting children with behavioural difficulties
- Good literacy and mathematical skills
- Ability to support with personal care as required
- Hardworking and adaptable to change
