Job Title: Adult Audiologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Adult Audiologist to join our team at Whittington Health NHS Trust. As a key member of our multi-disciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing a wide range of audiological services to adults across our trust.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive audiological assessments for adults, including hearing tests and assessments of balance and equilibrium.
  • Develop and implement individualized management plans for patients with hearing impairments, including the fitting of hearing aids and other assistive devices.
  • Work closely with other healthcare professionals to provide a comprehensive service to patients, including ENT surgeons, GPs, and other specialists.
  • Participate in research projects and contribute to the development of new clinical tests and procedures.
  • Provide education and training to other healthcare professionals and patients on audiological topics.
Requirements:
  • Professional registration as a Clinical Scientist in Audiology or equivalent.
  • Post-qualification experience in adult audiology, including experience of conducting behavioural assessments and developing individualized management plans.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Knowledge of audiological tests and equipment, including hearing aids and other assistive devices.
