Lead Credit Control Specialist

This position is perfect for a professional with a solid background in Credit Control, seeking to enhance their career while contributing significantly to the team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and nurture relationships with essential internal and external partners to ensure timely resolution of all inquiries, facilitating prompt payments and effectively managing the company's credit risk.
- Oversee your own ledger by adhering to the established collection strategy.
- Act as the primary escalation point for accounts that are eligible for legal proceedings, collaborating with the legal department to recover overdue payments.
- Authorize credits and write-offs through a structured workflow.
- Ensure all cash postings are thoroughly investigated, taking appropriate actions promptly after the initial review by the Accounts Receivable Team.
- Assist the Credit Control team in escalating their inquiries within the organization, serving as the first point of contact and escalating to the Accounts Receivable and Credit Control Manager when necessary.
- Support the annual internal and external audit processes.
- Participate in ledger reviews alongside the Credit Control team and other business units.
Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in Credit Control.
- Intermediate proficiency in Excel, including Pivot Tables and Lookups.
- Familiarity with Master Data management.
- Working knowledge of Power BI.
While qualifications such as AAT or CICM are advantageous, hands-on experience is prioritized. We are looking for a performance-driven individual who is eager to exceed expectations and possesses strong problem-solving skills, including error detection, correction, and root cause analysis.
