Job Opportunity: Psychology Graduate Support Worker
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Psychology Graduate to join our team as a Support Worker. As a Support Worker, you will work closely with students who have Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Mental Health issues, providing invaluable support and guidance to help them reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized support to students with SEN and Mental Health issues
- Work closely with trained professionals, such as child psychologists, speech & language therapists, and pastoral support
- Assist with lesson planning and implementation
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements:
- Relevant degree in Psychology or a related subject
- Experience or knowledge of supporting students with SEN
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work as part of a team and use discretion and confidentiality
