Job Title: Procurement Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team at Career Moves. As a Procurement Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting procurement operations for our clients in the food service and tech industries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage new product requests from the business: Work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and manage the procurement process from request to delivery.
  • Prepare and coordinate sampling sessions: Collaborate with chefs and other stakeholders to plan and execute sampling sessions for new products.
  • Manage cafe smallware and equipment requests: Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of smallware and equipment.
  • Prepare category reviews and analysis reports: Conduct thorough analysis of procurement data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Prepare market reports: Research and analyze market trends to inform procurement decisions.
  • Coordinate purchasing vendor QBR feedback reports: Work with vendors to gather feedback and improve procurement processes.
  • Provide training and support to CafePro users: Assist users in navigating the CafePro system and provide training on best practices.
  • Carry out all admin duties for the assigned category: Manage administrative tasks related to procurement, including data entry and record-keeping.
  • Communicate any changes to product or supplier information to the business: Keep stakeholders informed of any changes to products or suppliers.
  • Implement and maintain sustainable procurement practices: Develop and implement strategies to reduce waste and improve sustainability in procurement processes.
  • Support XFN teams for any new cafe openings: Collaborate with XFN teams to ensure smooth procurement processes for new cafe openings.
  • Actively track savings and cost mitigation: Monitor and analyze procurement data to identify opportunities for cost savings.
  • Sourcing, negotiating, and managing cafe suppliers: Identify and negotiate with suppliers to secure the best possible deals for our clients.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years experience in a similar role: Proven experience in procurement or a related field is essential.
  • Excellent communication skills: Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience dealing with XFN partners: Familiarity with XFN partners and ability to work effectively with them.
  • Highly analytical and strategic thinker: Ability to analyze data and develop strategic plans to improve procurement processes.
  • Procurement qualification: CIPS or other relevant qualification is desirable.
  • Proficiency in G suite: Ability to use G suite tools to manage procurement processes.
