About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Dual Diagnosis Nurse to join our team at Change Grow Live. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to individuals struggling with mental health and substance abuse issues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive physical and mental health assessments to identify areas of need and develop effective treatment plans.
  • Provide education and health promotion services to promote healthy behaviors and prevent substance abuse.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination and referrals to appropriate services.
  • Develop and maintain therapeutic relationships with service users, promoting trust and empowerment.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical guidelines and best practices in dual diagnosis treatment.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of service improvement initiatives.
About You:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A current PIN and relevant post-qualification experience as a registered nurse.
  • Relevant experience working in drug and alcohol treatment, although not essential.
  • Sound knowledge of harm reduction and health promotion interventions.
  • Excellent assessment and recovery planning skills, with the ability to formulate written reports as needed.
  • Clinical auditing skills to inform service evaluation and identify areas for development.
  • A professional, empathetic, and non-judgmental attitude towards service users and stakeholders.
