About the Role

As a Children's Residential Activity Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting young people with Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) and challenging behaviours. Your primary focus will be on creating a safe and nurturing environment that encourages social, emotional, and behavioural growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support young people in a fast-paced environment, promoting their development and well-being.
  • Plan and deliver engaging activities that cater to diverse interests and abilities.
  • Build strong relationships with young people, fostering trust and open communication.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and supportive team environment.
Requirements
  • Experience working with children or young people in a care setting (desirable).
  • Valid driving license and ability to transport young people.
  • Age 22 or above.
  • NVQ or QCF level 3 in Children & Young People (desirable).
What We Offer
  • Competitive salary up to 32K.
  • Location: Bishops Castle.
  • Shift patterns: 4 days working, including overnights/ 8 Days off/ over four days including overnights.
