About the Role

Thorn Lighting is seeking a highly experienced professional to lead the development of our application competency and drive business growth for our indoor lighting brands in the industry, transportation, and retail sectors.

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a strategic business development plan to build market-relevant offerings and drive growth for luminaires, connectivity, and control solutions, as well as emergency lighting systems.
  • Lead the business development of a portion of the Thorn application portfolio, including roadmap, pricing strategy, and partner relationships.
  • Collaborate with sales and G-KAM teams to develop single products up to end-to-end solutions with compelling value propositions and competitive differentiation.
  • Stay up-to-date with market and technology trends to identify growth themes with market relevance.
  • Develop and execute campaigns to drive new solutions and demand generation in collaboration with sales and G-KAM teams.
  • Work closely with sales and G-KAM teams to manage the pre-sales process with customers and provide domain leadership throughout the sales cycle.

Requirements

  • Background in product management, preferably from the lighting industry.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in engineering, innovation management, business administration, marketing, or other related fields.
  • Clear understanding of how to shape, reposition, develop, and rank a product portfolio of leading industry brands.
  • Excellent quantitative and analytical skills for current and future requirements of products to be covered.
