We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced EMEA Procurement Category Manager to join our team at Axalta. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for managing the procurement of pigments and related materials for our EMEA region.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute procurement strategies to ensure the timely and cost-effective delivery of pigments and related materials.
- Manage relationships with suppliers to negotiate prices, terms, and conditions that meet our business needs.
- Conduct market analysis and benchmarking to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business objectives and strategies.
- Develop and maintain procurement plans, budgets, and reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- 8-10 years of experience in procurement, with a minimum of 5 years in category management.
- Proven track record of delivering cost savings and process improvements.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
