The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Senior Contracts Manager to join our team in North Wales. You will play a crucial role in managing a portfolio of rail and civil engineering projects, including long-term framework agreements with key clients.

Your Responsibilities

  • Lead the operational management of Asset Management Frameworks and Infrastructure projects for Network Rail and other clients within the North Wales region.
  • Oversee financial monitoring and control of reactive maintenance work streams and individual projects, ensuring adherence to budget and profitability targets.
  • Maintain a strong focus on Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality (HSEQ) compliance across all projects.
  • Develop and maintain excellent client relationships through regular communication and collaboration.
  • Plan and manage project schedules effectively, ensuring timely completion within agreed parameters.
  • Implement robust risk management processes to mitigate potential issues.
  • Collaborate with commercial teams to prepare change instructions and ensure accurate cost reporting.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Your Qualifications & Experience

  • Proven experience in a Contracts Management role within the rail or civil engineering industry.
  • Strong understanding of contractual processes, technical construction requirements, and commercial acumen.
  • Relevant qualification in Civil Engineering (BSc/HNC/HND).
  • Experience working within a civils maintenance framework environment is essential.
  • Familiarity with NEC or bespoke NR forms of contract.
