**Job Summary:** We are seeking a skilled and experienced Band 5 nurse to join our team in the Diabetes and Endocrine Outpatient Department at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our department.
Key Responsibilities:- **Maintain Accurate Records:** Ensure that patient records are accurate, comprehensive, and up-to-date, adhering to local and national policies on confidentiality and data protection.
- **Confidentiality and Data Protection:** Maintain confidentiality in respect of patient records, medical, nursing, and allied health professionals.
- **Health and Safety:** Adhere to the Trust's policies and procedures, with particular emphasis given to health and safety at work, the administration of drugs, control of infection, and disposal of waste.
- **Interdisciplinary Collaboration:** Liaise effectively with other services, including primary care, to provide clinical and social support for patients and their carers.
- **Access to Electronic Systems:** Access all electronic systems pertinent to patients' records and care.
