Job Summary

Round Peg Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for all aspects of financial control, accounting, and financial planning.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with the preparation of monthly financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Process and reconcile invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely payments.
  • Maintain and update financial records, including ledgers and journals.
  • Assist in preparing budgets and forecasts.
  • Support the payroll process by ensuring accurate and timely payment of staff wages.
  • Liaise with external accountants and auditors during audits.
  • Monitor and manage expenses, ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Provide administrative support to the finance department as needed.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related business field.
  • Previous experience in a finance assistant or similar role.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A relevant finance or accounting qualification (AAT, ACCA, or equivalent) is desirable but not essential.
