GT Car Build Technician

At Prodrive, we're pushing the boundaries of what's possible in motorsport. As a GT Car Build Technician, you'll be part of a close-knit team that designs, builds, and runs elite competition cars on the track and off-road worldwide.

Key Responsibilities
  • Meet strict build schedules to deliver GT3 & GT4 cars on time.
  • Ensure each build meets our high standards of safety, quality, and reliability, adhering to our build manuals and SSOW processes.
  • Identify areas for efficiency improvements from a lean manufacturing perspective.
  • Problem-solve and diagnose faults with minimal supervision.
  • Raise and address quality issues through the Workshop Supervisor.
  • Keep car documentation and sign-off processes up to date.
  • Provide customer event support when required.
Requirements

We're looking for someone with previous experience building Race, Rally, or Prototype cars in a Motorsport or Automotive background. You'll need to be highly organized, with good interpersonal skills, and able to work in a high-pressure environment.

You'll have knowledge of metalwork fabrication, composite trimming and bonding, mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
