About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Neonatal Nurse to join our team in a brand new role, focusing on reducing inequalities in infant and child mortality and morbidity. The successful candidate will work closely with the neonatal team to provide high-quality, evidence-based care to families with a higher risk of genetic conditions.

Main Responsibilities
  • Work with affected families to encourage genetic testing and awareness
  • Support the development and promotion of the Culturally Sensitive Genetic Literacy Project
  • Collaborate with the Close Relative Marriage Midwife to facilitate early access to genomics information and support
  • Participate in the Thames Valley and Wessex Neonatal Network to standardize and improve care

Person Specification
  • Registered Nurse Subpart 1 Adult or Children's Nurse, midwife on the NMC Register
  • Recognised neonatal qualification
  • Qualification in practice learning and assessment
