The Role

We are seeking a skilled Footwear Design Specialist to join our small team and play a key role in creating our design-led, fashion-relevant collections. As a Footwear Design Specialist, you will be responsible for assisting in the development of customer and market-focused product collections each season, working closely with our buying team to ensure fit and aesthetics meet brand requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development of customer and market-focused product collections each season.
  • Work closely with the buying team to ensure fit and aesthetics meet brand requirements.
  • Provide technical drawings for suppliers and finalize approved designs for production.
  • Be responsible for your design work, following samples through until a perfect sample is delivered to deadlines.
  • Be flexible and able to change and reprioritize tasks as required.

Requirements

  • Experience of designing mens footwear for a high-fashion retailer.
  • Excellent drawing skills and practical knowledge of shoe design.
  • Strong understanding of and passion for the Kurt Geiger brand, customer, and collections.
  • Ability to produce high-quality work quickly and efficiently.
  • Engagement and enthusiasm about the fashion industry, with strong knowledge of luxury and high-street trends.
  • Ability to produce original, creative, and brand-appropriate ideas based on upcoming trends.
