About the Role:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team at Alcedo Care. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients, enabling them to live independently in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing personal care and support to clients, including assistance with daily living tasks such as bathing, dressing, and toileting.
  • Assisting clients with mobility and transferring them safely.
  • Preparing and serving meals, and assisting with household chores.
  • Administering medication and providing medical support as required.
  • Running errands and providing companionship to clients.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in care and support work, preferably in a home care setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
