Insurance Business Development Manager

We are seeking an ambitious and experienced Commercial Account Executive to join our dynamic team in Cambridge. This sales-focused position offers the autonomy to expand commercial services, providing expert, independent advice while growing both new and existing business in the area.

Key Responsibilities- Communicate confidently and effectively to deliver expert commercial insurance advice, supported by our knowledgeable team.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to drive business growth.
- Understand and apply insurance terminology in complex commercial scenarios.
- Provide detailed explanations of insurance products, leveraging local knowledge to enhance business development.
- Utilize technical expertise to navigate insurance products and principles.
- Experience in a similar broker or insurance role.
- Strong understanding of insurance terminology and application in commercial contexts.
- Ability to communicate complex information clearly to clients.
- Knowledge of insurance product features, benefits, exclusions, and warranties.
- Proficiency in tailoring solutions to client needs.
- Basic understanding of financial security and claims principles.
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- High level of computer literacy.
- Preference for candidates holding Cert CII or progressing towards further qualifications.
- Familiarity with local industries and businesses is a plus.
