Associate Director Opportunity in Planning and Design Consultancy

Penguin Recruitment Ltd is delighted to be supporting a highly regarded Planning and Design Consultancy on the hire of an Associate Director to their office in Nottingham.

About the Role

This is a permanent and full-time position with a growing consultancy specialising in town planning and urban design.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver planning permissions of varying scales across a broad range of development sectors.
  • Chartered membership of the Royal Town Planning Institute.
  • Strong track record in planning, with a minimum of seven years post-qualification experience, preferably in a consultancy or similar commercial environment.
  • Excellent knowledge of the planning system including planning policy.
  • Ability to undertake complex negotiations with stakeholders based on a coherent planning strategy.
  • Project management skills, including effective time/resource management.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and to work under own initiative.
