Associate Planning Director Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Associate Planning Director to join our team at Hunter Dunning Ltd in Nottingham. As a key member of our consultancy, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our clients' projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead on projects, working closely with our Directors to deliver high-quality results
  • Develop and implement effective development management strategies
  • Manage planning applications for a range of project scales
  • Represent clients in planning appeals and local plan examinations
  • Contribute to the development of our team through mentoring and knowledge sharing
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, identifying new business opportunities and expanding existing relationships
Requirements:
  • 8+ years of experience in town planning or a related field, with a strong track record of success
  • Degree qualified in Town Planning or a similar field
  • RTPI membership and a strong understanding of planning policies and regulations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues
