About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Qualified Social Worker to join our team at Rochdale Council's Connected Carers Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality social work services to children and families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of children's needs and develop effective care plans to ensure their well-being and safety.
  • Work closely with families, carers, and other professionals to provide support and guidance, promoting positive outcomes for children.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with service users, their families, and carers, ensuring their needs are met and their voices are heard.
  • Participate in the planning and reviewing of cases, ensuring that the needs of children are prioritized and their rights are respected.
  • Provide advice and support to families and carers, promoting independence and early intervention where possible.
  • Liaise with colleagues and external agencies to gather relevant information and ensure effective collaboration.
Requirements
  • Hold a Social Work Degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Be registered with Social Work England.
  • Hold an Enhanced DBS certificate.
