Qualified Social Worker for Children's Services

Randstad Care is seeking a qualified Social Worker to join Oldham Council's Duty and Advice (MASH) Service. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing a caseload of complex and challenging cases, working closely with partner agencies to identify and secure the most appropriate services to support and safeguard children and families.
Key Responsibilities:
• Respond to contacts made to the MASH in a timely manner to identify and secure the most appropriate service to support and safeguard children and families.
• Communicate with families, partner agencies, and members of the public to gain details and enable strong evidence-based decision making in line with practice standards and statutory duties.
• Have a good understanding of statutory social worker functions and be confident in making informed threshold decisions.
Requirements:
• Social Work Qualification or equivalent
• Social Work England registered
• Enhanced DBS
