Marine Hydrography Career Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated professional to join our Survey Department as Deputy Head of Hydrography.

The ideal candidate will have a relevant first or second degree/diploma in Hydrography/Surveying and at least three years' relevant practical experience. A working knowledge of QINSy, SIS, POSMv for acquisition and POSPac, Caris, and Global Mapper is highly desirable.

As Deputy Head of Hydrography, you will be responsible for survey planning, mobilization/demobilization, acquisition, processing, and reporting. You will work full-time on projects in the UK and worldwide, collaborating with a hard-working and dedicated team involved in complex marine survey projects in the Renewables, Oil and Gas, Utilities, and Cable Route sectors.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading a team of surveyors in survey planning, mobilization, and demobilization
  • Coordinating data acquisition, processing, and reporting
  • Developing and implementing survey strategies to meet project requirements
  • Ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations
