About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to join our team at Sir Robert McAlpine, a leading construction company with a rich history of delivering iconic projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead project teams in implementing effective quality management practices, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with site teams to identify and mitigate quality risks, driving engagement and improving project outcomes.
  • Work closely with design teams to ensure quality risks are considered and addressed through design mitigation.
  • Develop and implement quality package risk workshops to ensure timely identification and mitigation of quality risks.
  • Review and assess the effectiveness of project quality risk controls, paying particular attention to subcontractor controls.
  • Conduct technical site quality inspections to ensure quality performance and champion the use of FieldView for inspections.
Requirements
  • Proven track record of accomplishment in construction and engineering environments.
  • HNC or equivalent in an engineering or construction discipline, with practical hands-on experience in project delivery.
  • Strong understanding of Building Regulations, Construction Law, and Quality Specifications in the UK construction sector.
  • Familiarity with ISO9001:2015.
  • Excellent presentation and written communication skills.

  • You are passionate about quality and have the ability to influence and inspire others to prioritize quality.
  • You have working knowledge of digital technology in construction and are comfortable auditing building projects.
  • You have experience in quality management systems, including ongoing development and site quality practices.
