Key Responsibilities- Schedule and Coordinate Vehicle Maintenance: Develop and implement a comprehensive maintenance schedule to ensure our vehicles are properly serviced and repaired in a timely manner.
- Manage Maintenance Costs: Analyze and optimize maintenance costs to ensure maximum efficiency and minimize expenses.
- Ensure Compliance with Vehicle Safety Regulations: Verify that all vehicles meet or exceed industry safety standards and regulations.
- Monitor Fuel Consumption and Costs: Track and analyze fuel consumption to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to reduce costs.
- Implement Fuel-Saving Strategies: Develop and implement initiatives to reduce fuel consumption and lower costs.
- Manage Fuel Cards and Fuel Records: Oversee the management of fuel cards and fuel records to ensure accurate tracking and reporting.
- Coordinate Driver Training and Compliance: Develop and implement training programs to ensure drivers are compliant with industry regulations and company policies.
- Track Driver Performance and Conduct Performance Reviews: Monitor driver performance and conduct regular performance reviews to ensure drivers are meeting expectations.
- Manage Driver Records and Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of driver information and documentation.
- Analyze Fleet Usage Data: Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to optimize fleet usage.
- Implement Strategies to Reduce Fleet Costs and Improve Efficiency: Develop and implement initiatives to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
- Manage Relationships with Suppliers: Develop and maintain relationships with vehicle suppliers, maintenance providers, and fuel suppliers to ensure optimal pricing and service.
- Prepare and Analyze Fleet Performance Reports: Develop and analyze reports to track key metrics such as fuel efficiency, maintenance costs, and vehicle utilization.
- Minimum of 3 Years of Experience: In fleet management or a similar role.
- Strong Organizational and Time Management Skills: Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Fleet Management Software: Experience with fleet management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with drivers, maintenance staff, and other stakeholders.
- Valid Driving License: Required for this role.
