Job Summary:

CRA GROUP LIMITED is seeking a highly skilled Digital Skills Tutor to join our team. As a Digital Skills Tutor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences for learners.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver engaging teaching and learning experiences for learners.
  • Manage teaching and learning in line with organizational policies and practices.
  • Contribute to the continuous development of the curriculum.
  • Provide advice, guidance, and support to learners.
Key Duties/Accountabilities:
  • Undertake teaching duties, including initial assessments of learners, identifying individual learning needs, and referring to learning support as appropriate.
  • Plan and deliver teaching and learning activities, including preparing course outlines, producing schemes of work and lesson plans, and ensuring there are appropriate and up-to-date course files.
  • Monitor learner attendance and punctuality and take appropriate action as required.
  • Ensure that the progress and achievement of learners are recognized and recorded, including marking of learners' work and providing retention and achievement information to the curriculum team leader/manager.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of one year of experience in teaching, preferably in a related industry or sector.
  • Experience of teaching all abilities, particularly at entry level.
  • Experience of teaching on accredited digital skills courses is desirable.
  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent qualification) and knowledge and training in subject specialism, e.g., PGCE, DET, or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Minimum of L2 English and maths qualifications.
